• Is there a deposit? Ask how much, and when and how you get it back.
• Check what is included in the rent: water, energy, internet, service charges, furniture.
• Never pay anything before you have seen the place (in person or by live video) and signed a contract.
• Ask for the minimum rental period and the notice period.
• Keep everything in writing and save the original listing.
